ABOUT
Matthew is a mixed-media artist graduate of Kendall College of Art & Design at Ferris State University.
His work explores traditional painting and drawing combined with other medias such as discarded electronics and organic objects to create visual narratives. Through the contrast of the natural and man-made Stork opens a dialogue on longevity, ephemera, temporality, and permanence.
Elements of Cubism, Animism, Sacred Geometry, and Semiotics play a role in his catalogue of artwork by combining icons, patterns and symbols connecting history, science, and pop culture.
Matthew has exhibited in the Midwest, East Coast, and Southern California as well as several exhibits in Europe.
